Nolan Bushnell

Nolan Key Bushnell was born February 5th, 1943 in Clearfield, Utah. He is currently 71 and is married to Nancy Bushnell. Together they had a daughter named Alissa and she is currently working with her dad at uWink. Nolan graduated college in 1968 with a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Utah College of Engineering.

Nolan Bushnell has played a big part in computers. In 1970, Nolan invented the first game that was to be played on the computer. It was called Computer Space, but later developed into the game we all know as Pong. It was a computerized version of ping-pong with two paddles and a ball. Bushnell later founded a company called Atari which marketed Bushnell's products. Finally in 1975, Atari made a newer version of Pong that could be played on TV. So actually he was a big part in personal computers and personal gaming.
